African Leadership Golf event Kenya

On 11 March 2008 OAVM would have organized the African Leadership Convention in Kenya in cooperation with Tobs Golf Safaris. Due to the siruation in Kenya we where forced to postpone this event until 2009.

African Leadership

OAVM organizes African Leadership conventions to improve the interaction about different theories about leadership in general but in Africa specific focused on local needs. What makes an African leader into a good leader? How is it possible that some African countries still suffer from poor leadership? But more important is what we can do about it. How could we learn from other African countries and what aspects of western leadership could work in an African enviroment. OAVM builds a platform on which these discussions can take place and is willing to take these discussions all over Europe and Africa to build and maintain a structural HR network with strong emphasis on African Leadership.

Program

The program will be published soon on this website. Stellenbosch university from South-Africa will be one of the participants who will perform a presentation about African Leadership.

Local

We are looking for participants who want to present a paper about leadership in Africa, specified at the region where they come from. 

Costs

The costs for participation at the African Leadership only will be € 150,00. You are free to participate at the workshop doing business in Kenya at the afternoon of this day. The costs also include lunch, BBQ and a network cocktail event in cooperation with KLM Club Africa after the workshop doing business in Kenya. If you can only attend at the network cocktail event you will pay € 50,00.
