Second golf event OAVM

After the first golf and network event last year October OAVM organised in cooperation with SANEC and KLM Club Africa the second event on 30 May at "Het Rijk van Margraten" in the beautiful surroundings of Maastricht. Main goal was to interest companies from the region for doing business in South Africa and to bring companies together who were already active in South Africa or the rest of Africa. Not only companies from the Limburg region turned up but also companies from Rotterdam, Eindhoven and even Egypt.

Seminar doing business in South Africa

Mark Reyneker of SANEC presented a short seminar about doing business in South Africa. SANEC and OAVM organized a trade mission in June 2007 to South Africa together so those experiences could be shared with the public. SANEC works together with OAVM in the Southern regions of the Netherlands to interest more companies in doing business in South Africa.

Golf tournament

After a tasteful lunch the participants were invited on the green where for the most the first encounter ever took place with the golf sport. Again golf appeared to become a very successful network event because the business cards changed hands rapidly.

Networking

The participating companies expressed their wishes that this event should be held more regularly because there is a lack of these kind of events in the South of the Netherlands.  

After a 'grey' beginning of the day it turned out to be a great and sunny day. With the help of the management of "Het Rijk van Margraten" this golf event became a great success.
