The KLM Club Africa New Year Event on 15 January 2008 in South African restaurant 'Tjing Ting' proved itself to be successful. It brought together club members and enabled them to meet face-to- face while sharing their common interest. Various sectors were represented which added to the colorful night.

On 15 Januari 2008 the first KLM Club Africa network event in 2008 took place. About 65 members visited South African 'Tjing Tjing'in Amsterdam. This year more events will be organized by KLM Club Africa e.g.  in Maastricht in May, Amsterdam and Cape Town in August and possibly New York in October.
