First exhibition for doing business with Africa
On the 7th of November Dirk Elzinga, CEO of Cape Town international Congress Center, had the honor to open the first edition of Let's Meet Africa and do business. Elzinga, former director of the RAI, is successfull in promoting Cape Town as a conference and business city. 'A brave and interesting initiative' says Elzinga.

30 stands and 250 visitors
30 standholders rented a stand on Let's Meet Africa and do business and at the end of the event, 250 visitors visited the stands. For some a dissapointment but for others very satisfying. Marc Habets: if you initiate a grant event such as this, you know it will have to endure difficulties. The choice of the location in Eindhoven was already risky because most of the companies which do business are located in the Randstad. From the evaluation it became clear that the responses varied from disappointing to extremely positive and that a second edition of this event should take place in the near future.
