About Trigger Cars

The Trigger is a great success on the street scene in different European countries and in San Fransisco. The brightly coloured three-wheeler scootercar is an increasingly common sight. In some places the little cabrio, which has a maximum speed of 45 km/h, is really becoming all the rage.

A bit of history

Since August 2006 Trigger Cars has undergone a considerable change. It has become part of the Fox Group and now shares a location with Fox Products in Dedemsvaart in the Netherlands. All purchasing and sales activities worldwide are co-ordinated from the Netherlands. The Trigger itself is made in the Czech Republic. The Netherlands thus functions as the main co-ordination centre. All Triggers, with a large number of countries all over the world as targets, go via the Netherlands. There they are subjected to a final quality inspection before going on to their final destination.

Possibitities 

The trigger 50 has many possibilities. Like a driving billboard, a tour guide, delivery car or just as a rental car. At this moment Hotels and resorts use the Trigger Car as rental cars especially in the 'warmer' areas. It is a lot of fun drving in the cabrio as you see so much more of the surroundings.

A trigger on the road attracts more public than a red ferrari. Using a professional design on the trigger makes the trigger into a perfect drving bollboard.

Tour-guide

With the GPS the trigger has a tourguide for 2 persons. For instance in San Fransisco the Trigger can be rented as tourguide. Because of the size of the trigger a sightseeing tour has so much more to offer. You can cover a bigger distance and reach places where other verhicle can not come. Even parking is so much easier when you park the trigger to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Dou you take a wrong turn? No problem, the GPS put's you right back on track.

Transportation

In addition to the above mentioned possibilites the Trigger is just a great way to transport yourself. To do shopping, go to a movie or go to work. There are optional extra's to add to your Trigger to have a more personal touch. Standard options you will find here.  

Available in South Africa

OAVM is approached by Trigger Cars BV in the Netherlands to explore if the Trigger Car could be distributed to South Africa by the end of this year. As the Trigger Cars passed several international approval tests most likely the Trigger Car will have no trouble being admitted on the South African Roads. Ofcourse not every road is suitable for the Trigger Car looking at the top speed of 45 km/hr. Cape Town will be most likely the first in South Africa where the Trigger Cars will be seen first. OAVM is investigating of the Trigger Cars could be manufactured for South Africa with a solar panel and a suitable battery. That would make the Trigger into a 'green and clean' machine.
