OAVM works together with L1 TV during World Cup 2010

Cooperation L1 TV & Radio

As a follow up on the succesfull programme  'Sjeng Hai' that L1 broadcasted during the Olympic games in Bejing China L1 is going to make 25 programmes about the World Cup 2010 and South Africa. L1 requested cooperation from OAVM to match the success of the TV shows about Bejing.

Different topics

During the TV shows different topics will be highlighted e.g. culture, economy, politics, religion, culinary delights, wine, tourism, sports, music, fashion and ofcourse the latest news about the Dutch team and the World Cup tournament. The TV shows start on June 7th en last untill July 9th and will be broadcasted between 16.57 p.m. – 17.25 p.m. and will be repeated every hour. In addition to the shows broadcasted from the L1 studio in Maastricht background information will be delivered by a team situated in South Africa. There will be special interest in the influence and situation of 'Limburgers' in South Africa as L1 is a TV station broadcasting from the Capital of Limburg Maastricht. Every day new guests will be invited in the studio where Sander Kleikers (see picture) will host the show. The set up of the show will be very informal but very informative. Main idea is to show as much faces and insights of South Africa and its people to the Dutch audience as possible with special attention for the links between Limburg, South Africa and the World Cup 2010.

Guests at the table

Companies and organisations who have a relationship with South Africa will be the guest of Sander  in the studio in Maastricht. Marc Habets, Managing Director of OAVM Organisation & Consultancy, who is born in Maastricht and is promoting multi sectoral business in South Africa will be a regular guest in the show. If there are people who want to profile themselves, their company or organisation or have something to add to the program please let us know. There are several things possible. The show has 250.000 live watchers and all shows could be viewed after the live show on the website of L1 www.L1.nl. So even if you live in South Africa you will be able to watch the show, not live on TV, but a few hours later on the website of L1.
