Foppe de Haan

Africa + Soccer = SCORE

Foppe de Haan is known in the Netherlands as a great coach which innovative insites and an honest opinion. His way of working made the Dutch soccer team under 21 twice European champion in a row. Now Foppe is preparing his team for the Olympics in Bejing.

He worked a lot with young people in South Africa and became ambassador of SCORE in the Netherlands.

SCORE is a South African non-profit, non-government, community development organisation that uses sport and physical activity as a medium of development.

SCORE recruits and trains international volunteers, who are placed in mainly rural communities in South Africa, Namibia and Zambia where they live with host families for six months to a year implementing SCORE's programmes in the community.
